Meet Our Founder
Hi, I’m Jamilah, founder of JH Property Connect.
I’ve worked in the property industry for nearly four years, with the last year focused on building and supporting investor portfolios across the North East.
JH Property Connect was founded at the end of 2024 with a clear purpose: to create a property business built on transparency, strong fundamentals and long-term relationships. I wanted to combine professional property expertise with a people-first approach, ensuring every deal works not just on paper, but in real life.
The North East is my home. It’s where I was born, raised and where I’ve built my life and career. That local knowledge sits at the heart of everything we do, allowing us to identify opportunities that make sense for sellers, investors and the wider community.
For me, property has always been about people. It works best when everyone wins — the seller achieves a smooth and respectful sale, the investor secures a well-researched opportunity, and the local area benefits from thoughtful investment. That belief underpins every decision at JH Property Connect.

Why I Started JH Cares
As the business grew, it was important to me that giving back remained central
to what we do.
That’s why JH Cares was created. Our community arm dedicated to supporting local
people and causes, starting with our annual Christmas Eve food initiative for
those experiencing homelessness and hardship.
JH Cares reflects a simple belief: when property is done well, it should have a positive impact beyond bricks and mortar.
